I AM Elise.

I am an IACP certified Dog Trainer.

Since I was very young, I have always had a great love for animals; paticularly dogs.

At 10 years old, I was “hired” to show Toy Fox Terriers in conformation shows. After that, I handled a different owner’s Terriers in the sport of Rally.

When I was about 16, I started volunteering at Helen Woodward Animal Center. I volunteered weekly for around three years: first in the adoptions department, and then in Club Pet; the boarding facility. There I gained experience handling over 100 different dog breeds (yes, I kept track).

A few years ago, I attended and graduated dog training school at Pro Train in Vista. There I encountered dogs of many issues; especially reactivity and aggression. I became certified through the Pro Train dog training school, as well as the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). Since then, I have attended multiple dog training seminars, trained dogs under the Wag! app, and worked as a mobile dog groomer for Awesome Doggies!.

My non-dog animal experience includes taking equine classes in college, working for a summer at a Therapeutic Riding Ranch, and taking care of and handling all types of animals including: horses, chickens, hamsters, cats, birds, and parrots.

Now dog training and petsitting is really not JUST about the dogs and the other animals… it’s also about the people! I come from a very strong customer service background in both sales and the food service industry. I understand how critical customer service is, and the importance of being ethical to not only the dogs but also to their owners; my clients.

My goal is to create Peaceful connections between you and your canine, by helping you and your dog in the most ethical and honest way possible.
